To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Hong Kong Adventist Hospital – Tsuen Wan (HKAH – TW), the Board of Governors – Tsuen Wan (BOG – TW) hosted a gala tea event on May 26, bringing together members of the BOG – TW, community leaders, and donors. With over 130 distinguished guests in attendance, the event saw Dr. Ko Wing-man and many doctors and nurses from HKAH – TW grace the stage with moving performances, and concluded with Dr. Ko’s performance of the song “A Candle Light”, which drew the afternoon to a memorable close as all guests joined in with candles in their hands. To raise funds for Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation on behalf of the Board of Governors – Tsuen Wan, Mr. Alex Lan, CEO and President of Hong Kong Adventist Hospital, completed a charity walk over the course of five months, reaching an accumulated distance of 200 km between December 2023 and May 2024. Funds raised will be directed to the Foundation’s charity programs in 2024, providing cataract surgery for 200 elderly patients and diagnostic imaging for 150 people in need.
